The skin of Sapota fruit will be rough, but the flesh of the fruit inside will be honey coloured having a sweet taste and a different smell/ flavour. There will be black seeds in the center of the fruit. Seedless Sapota fruits are also available. You have to wash the Sapota fruit and remove the seeds and eat.
