• Soya sauce,
• Tomato sauce,
• Corn flour,
• Tamarind paste,
• Noodles.

These ready-made powders / pastes / items will be very convenient.

If a teaspoon of sambhar powder is added to cooked dhal, it will make a lot of difference in taste and flavour.
