The Most Popular Hindi Film Super- Star, Mr.Amitabh Bachchan was born on 11th October 1942 at Allahabad.Mr.Amitabh Bachchan entered Hindi Cinema World by his first film “Saat Hindusthani” and won “National Film Award for the Best New-comer”. Mr.Bachchan has acted in more than 190 films and produced six films.

Following his first National Award in his first film,Mr.Bachchan received a many awards from different forums, for his performance in films.

Mr.Bachchan hosted the popular TV Programme ‘Kaun Banega Chrorepathy”. It is notable that the Oscar award winner film “Slumdog Millionaire was based on this programme of the “Big-B”.

The Government of India had honoured Mr.Bachchan with top Civilian Awards:-

• “Padmashri” Award in 1984
• “Padma Bhushan” Award in 2001
