The 52nd Edition of the Annual Grammy Awards will be held at the Staples Centerin Los Angeles on 31st January 2010.The “Two Oscar Awards Winner- Music Maestro” Mr.A.R.Rahman has been nominated for two Grammy Awards-2010, for his Music in “Slumdog Millionaire”, for the Best Sound-Track for Motion Pictures, Television and the Other Visual Media Category for his song “Jai Ho”,
Already A.R.Rahman has won two Oscars for “Slumdog Millionaire” and the best original score award at the 2009 Golden Globe Award.

Now, A.R.Rahman has been nominated for the Grammy Awards 2010 in the Best :-

• Soundtrack for motion pictures, television or other visual media category for the film and

• Song for motion picture, television and other visual media category for “Jai ho”.

The Oscar Award winning “Jai Ho”-Song was written by the Lyricist Gulzar and sung by:-

• Sukhvinder Singh,
• Tanvi Shah,
• Mahalaxmi Iyer,
• Vijay Prakash and
• A.R.Rahman himself.

Mr.A.R.Rahman won 2 Grammy Awards on 31st January 2010.
