- "The Cricketer of the Year Award" of ICC. ( The Competitors/ for the ICC’s The Cricketer of the Year Award were, Hashim Amla- South Africa,Graeme Swann-England and Virendra Sehwag-India .) and
- "The LG People’s Choice Award". (5 Players had been Shortlisted for this Award in August 2010)

- Sachin Tendulkar will be the Opener and M.S.Dhoni will be the Wicket Keeper for the ICC ODI Team with Ricky Ponting of Australia as the Captain.
- Indian Cricket Player Virender Sehwag won the Test Cricketer of the Year Award. Sehwag is nominated in the Test Team of the Year, captained by M.S.Dhoni.
- AB de Villiers of South Africa won the ODI Cricketer of The Year. Sachin Tendulkar also had been nominated for the Award.
- Brendon McCullum of New Zealand , who scored an unbeaten 116 against Australia in a T20- I, has been named the ‘T20 Player of The Year’.
- Steven Finn of England was named the ‘Emerging Cricketer of the Year’. Irfan Pathan of India had won this award in the year 2004.
- The Allrounder Ryan ten Doeschate of Netherlands won the ‘Associate Player of the Year award’.
- New Zealand have won the ‘ICC Spirit of Cricket Award’.
- Umpire Aleem Dar of Pakistan has won the ‘Umpire of the Year Award’ for the second consecutive time.
- All-rounder Shelley Nitschke of Australia won the Woman Cricketer of the Year.
- The Fast Bowler Steven Finn of England, who played in six Test matches in the voting period and took 27 wickets at an average of 21.85, won the ‘ICC Emerging Player of the Year Award’.
