- A Memorial to Sivaji Ganesan has been built inside the 'A.V.M.' Studios, Chennai, on the spot where V.C.Ganesan faced the cinema camera for the first time for his first movie 'Parasakthi'. The Memorial is made of a black granite slab, placed vertically, with a brass plate in the centre, with a close up figure of Sivaji Ganesan delivering his first opening word "SUCCESS" on the top of the slab with the details of the memorial in the brass plate. The "Sivaji Ganesan Memorial" was inaugurated on 17th October 2002, the 50th Anniversary of the release of the movie 'Parasakthi'
