Weight Loss will improve Kidney functions in Obese Kidney patients

Saturday, September 19, 2009

Weight Loss in Obese or overweight persons will improve the following health conditions:-
  • Diatbetes
  • High Blood Pressure
  • High Cholesterol levels
  • Heart Diseases
Recent studies have shown that weight loss in obese persons with kidney disease will preserve the kidney functions and reduces “proteinuria” (excess excretion of protein in the urine, a hallmark of kidney damage) and will prevent additional decline in kidney function.
